A Message from Dr. Anderson: I just wanted everyone to know how much I have enjoyed owning and operating this clinic. It has been an honor to be of service to this community. Due to health reasons with both myself and my husband, I have decided to take a back seat and let Dr. Steve Costuma come on board. He is a great, experienced veterinarian, sweet, funny, and he and his fiance Meg will be a great addition. I hope you will welcome him as I have. I will still be involved, but on a part-time basis. Did You Know...
Grapes are toxic - Grapes are toxic to dogs (and cats) and can cause permanent kidney damage! Never feed them grapes...same thing with xylitol in sugarless gum
Deworming - All kittens and puppies should be routinely dewormed. A negative fecal sample does not necessarily indicate absence of parasites; eggs are shed intermittently.
Urinary Obstructions - Male cats that appear unable to urinate should be seen immediately. They may have a urinary blockage, which if left untreated can be fatal.
